Cabernet Franc
The clusters are medium-sized, with small, spherical berries, thin skin, and astringent pulp. The wines are fruity, with little color and moderate acidity. It is used to balance the aggressiveness and excessive coloring of another variety in the Cabernet family, the Cabernet Sauvignon.
