Sweet wine

A sweet wine is one that has a residual sugar level above 45 g/l, although this amount varies depending on the country and the wine-producing region.

They can be white, red, sparkling or fortified and, depending on how they are made, naturally sweet wines (those with a higher concentration of natural sugar) or sweet wines (when a sweet liquid is added to a dry wine to increase the sugar level artificially).
