Chablis

The A.O.C. Chablis was established in 1938, spanning 27 small communes in an area 15 kilometers wide and 20 kilometers long, located alongside the Serein River. One of the most important and well-known areas of Burgundy, situated in the northwest of the region, in the center-east of France. The chardonnay vines, the main variety of the wines, grow at an altitude between 230 and 280 meters above sea level.
