Rafael Cambra Dos 2024 is dominated by the monastrell variety, complemented by the international grapes cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc, with a small addition of garnacha. This magnificent blend offers a more complex and balanced profile than its sibling Uno. A red wine from the D.O. Valencia that is vibrant, balanced, and full of purity thanks to a winemaking process based on minimal intervention.

Rafael Cambra Dos 2024 is born in Fontanars dels Alforins, a privileged enclave in the southwest of Valencia, at an altitude of 700 meters. The vineyards, aged between 30 and 60 years, are cultivated in sandy soils with mountain stones, under a continental climate with Mediterranean influence. The coupage consists of monastrell, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and garnacha, grown under sustainable viticulture practices and minimal intervention, respecting the environment and the natural expression of the grape to the fullest.

The harvest is carried out manually from mid-September. Fermentation takes place with natural yeasts in open stainless steel tanks, with gentle pump-overs and piegage. Maceration lasts for two weeks at 25 ºC. Subsequently, the wine ages for 8 months in used French oak barrels (1 to 3 years old) and 6 months in a vat, aiming to preserve the fruit and the identity of the terroir.

Rafael Cambra is a family winery located in Fontanars dels Alforins, founded in 2001 by Rafa Cambra, a passionate winemaker and advocate of native varieties. His philosophy is based on respect for nature, minimal intervention, and the pursuit of honest wines that reflect the landscape and essence of their land. Rafael Cambra Dos 2024 is a clear example of this vision: a wine that combines technique, sensitivity, and authenticity. Ideal to pair with mountain rice dishes, white meats, mushrooms, and Mediterranean cuisine.

Tasting notes

It shows a clean and bright cherry color.

On the nose, it displays aromas of ripe wild berries, acidic notes, and herbal hints.

On the palate, it is fresh, structured, flavorful, with good balance and present but well-integrated tannins. Dry and long finish.
