The French commune of Beaune has been home, since 1731, to Bouchard Père & Fils, one of the oldest maisons in the Burgundy region. The property boasts a castle built by Louis XI in 1482 and one of the most impressive winegrowing heritages in the area: 130 hectares of vineyards in the legendary Côte d’Or, 12 of which are Grand Cru and another 74 Premier Cru.
Combining tradition with the latest technical advancements, the winery has managed to preserve its essence and the exceptional quality of its wines, making them indispensable references of Burgundy. Diversity is another hallmark of Bouchard Père & Fils, reflected in the different appellations under which it produces its creations, including Chevalier-Montrachet, Montrachet, Corton, Corton-Charlemagne, Meursault Genevriêres, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chassage-Montrachet, and Beaune.
