Valencia

The wine-growing area is located in the province of Valencia and encompasses four subzones: Alto Turia, with altitudes between 700-800 meters above sea level; Valentino, in the central part of the province with altitudes ranging from 250 to 650 m; Moscatel de Valencia, also in the central part, where the historic wine of the region is produced; and Clariano, in the south, with altitudes between 400-650 m.

Climate
Mediterranean climate. In autumn and summer, heavy storms and downpours occur. Temperatures range from 38 ºC in summer to -4 ºC during winter. Annual rainfall is around 500 mm.
Soil
The majority of the soils are brown, low in humus, and calcareous. There are no drainage problems, creating favorable conditions for vine cultivation.
