Enrique Mendoza Moscatel de la Marina 2024 is made exclusively from the predominant white grape in the Marina of Alicante. One of the sweet wines with the best quality-price ratio in our country.

Sweet wine lovers are in luck with Enrique Mendoza Moscatel de la Marina 2025, a sweet, gentle, and light single-varietal wine crafted by one of the most renowned wineries of the D.O. Vinos Alicante.

Bodegas Enrique Mendoza selected the finest Muscat of Alexandria grapes from their vineyards for its production, harvested at the optimal ripening moment when sugar and acidity reach perfect balance. After extracting the must from the fruits, it was macerated at low temperature with the grape skins to preserve all its aromas. The perfect level of sweetness was achieved by halting fermentation through the addition of wine alcohol until reaching 15 degrees.

Enrique Mendoza Moscatel de la Marina 2025 is a natural sweet wine that preserves the maximum fruity expression of the variety with which it is made, cultivated in the region for over 2000 years. Enjoy this sweet vegan white on its own or paired with foie and aged cheeses.

Tasting notes

Clean and transparent greenish-yellow color with golden reflections.

Joyful and rich on the nose, with prominent aromas of orange blossom honey, orange peel, and fresh mandarin, accompanied by balsamic notes and freshly cut grass.

On the palate, it is sweet, pleasant, light, and very creamy. It has high citrus acidity and a broad, delicate aftertaste.

Creators' opinion

The winery

Bodegas Enrique Mendoza
Bodegas Enrique Mendoza is a family-owned winery founded in 1989 and based in the town of Alfaz del Pi, in Alicante. The seed of the winery was "planted" in the late 1970s by Enrique Mendoza, a viticulturist passionate about enology, who decided to continue the tradition of the Marina Baixa region of producing wine for family consumption.

Today, the project has become well-established, and Bodegas Enrique Mendoza boasts 84.5 hectares of vineyards. The winery prides itself on being a pioneer in the region for introducing renowned international varieties such as the white chardonnay and the red cabernet sauvignon, merlot, pinot, petit verdot, and syrah, while also championing local varieties like monastrell, the queen grape of the D.O. Vinos Alicante, and moscatel.

The winery's philosophy is rooted in respect for the vineyard and the environment, practicing a herbicide- and insecticide-free viticulture with precise care, resulting in wines full of nuances.
