La Spinetta Moscato d'Asti Bricco Quaglia 2025 is the latest vintage of one of the finest moscatos from the Italian Piedmont. A historic wine with a long-standing tradition in the transalpine country, it is a must-have in the personal wine cellar of any winelover worth their name.
La Spinetta Moscato d'Asti Bricco Quaglia 2025 was the first wine from the prestigious La Spinetta winery to see the light in 1977, and today it is a classic Italian reference. La Spinetta Moscato d'Asti Bricco Quaglia embodies the firm commitment of the Rivetti family to transform Moscato d'Asti, the traditional dessert wine that was once light and simple, into a wine of substance. The hard work in the vineyard and winery paid off, and La Spinetta's Moscato became the first to be produced from a vineyard classified as unique in the region.
Indeed, this La Spinetta Moscato d'Asti Bricco Quaglia 2025, as its name suggests, was crafted from muscat grapes from the Bricco Quaglia vineyard, 20 hectares of vines aged between 36 and 41 years, planted on calcareous-sandy soils and south-facing, in the best area of the D.O.C.G. Moscato d'Asti. The uniqueness of the terroir; the practice of sustainable viticulture, free of herbicides and pesticides; and the meticulous winemaking process laid the foundation for creating a sweet, intense, and aromatic wine, whose low alcohol content makes it even more pleasant and accessible for all kinds of palates. While it is perfect for dessert, it is a delightful surprise as a companion for an aperitif or to enjoy during a delicious brunch.

La Spinetta is one of the most iconic wineries in the Italian Piedmont region. Its history began in 1977 when Giuseppe and Lidia Rivetti founded their original facilities in the town of Castagnole delle Lanze. Today, the second generation of the family, embodied by Giorgio Rivetti, is at the helm of the winery. Under his leadership, they uphold their philosophy of producing great wines, rooted in meticulous work both in the vineyard and in the winery.
The vineyard area owned by La Spinetta spans 165 hectares, 100 in Piedmont and 65 in Tuscany, with 75% of it being cultivated according to biodynamic principles. The main varieties grown are the native moscato d'Asti, sangiovese, barbera d'Asti, langhe nebbiolo, barbaresco, and barolo.
