Javi Revert Viticultor is a Valencian project located in La Font de la Figuera, in Terres dels Aforins (Valencia), with the intention of producing wines with a regional identity. Its beginnings date back to 2014, when a vineyard planted by Javier Revert's great-grandfather was acquired by the viticultor. It is a plot with an old vineyard of white varieties situated in a rugged area of beautiful landscapes with white soils located at 800 meters of altitude.
In addition to seeking out old vineyards in the area, the viticultor Javier Revert has dedicated himself to planting vineyards in special locations, recovering plots that were almost overgrown with forest.
His philosophy, in this sense, is to look for high-altitude plots, with a northern orientation, fresh soils, where he can plant native varieties with late-ripening grapes and large berries.
Ultimately, Revert's goal is to produce wines with minimal intervention using local varieties. Wines that are the result of vineyards worked manually with the utmost respect for nature.
The result of all this is to find freshness in the fruit, elegance in the wines, “to achieve that type of wine we enjoy drinking,” in his own words.
