Albillo

It has small and compact clusters, resulting in low yield during pressing. The berries are medium-sized, with thin skin, round shape, and golden color. It is not a highly aromatic variety but offers delicate aromas of honey. This variety is balanced in terms of acidity and alcohol content. Harvested in a late vintage (with slightly raisined berries), it adds silkiness and volume to the wines.
Weaknesses
Its early budding makes it particularly sensitive to spring frosts.
