Touriga Nacional
Red variety widely spread in some regions of Portugal. In the D.O. Dão, its use is mandatory (at least 20%) in the production of all dry reds. In Spain, it is found in Manchuela and Priorat. The wines produced with it are very tannic and deeply colored.
Weaknesses
Vigorous and low-yielding plant.
