Pessegueiro Aluzé 2014 is an appealing red wine crafted by Quinta do Pessegueiro, a renowned winery in the Douro. The native grape varieties touriga nacional and touriga franca form this balanced blend, which reflects, through its complexity and great fruit presence both on the nose and palate, the unique terroir it comes from: the rocky soil terraces on steep slopes of one of the best production areas in Portugal.

Creators' opinion
Quinta do Pessegueiro is a Portuguese winery that marked the first and successful venture into the world of wine by textile entrepreneur Roger Zannier.
The winery currently has three plots located in Pessegueiro, Teixeira, and Afurada. These are three terroirs with different characteristics, orientations, and soil compositions that produce unique wines showcasing the essence of the Douro region to which they belong: Azulé, fruity and versatile; Quinta do Pessegueiro, powerful and profound; and Pessegueiro, which embodies the quintessence of the winery's philosophy.
The winemaker João Nicolau de Almeida is the technical director of Quinta do Pessegueiro and the ultimate guarantor of a style that seeks balance between respect for the region's vineyard, tradition, new technologies, and originality.
