Medium-sized leaves, pentagonal, with five lobes and five well-defined sinuses, of an intense green color with a matte shine. The clusters are cylindrical, long, and with shoulders. The berries are spherical, medium-sized, and bluish-black in color. The pulp is colorless, and the skins are thin. From them, red wines with a marked personality are obtained: structured, fresh, and intense. Their high alcohol content - which can reach up to 14 degrees - and full body are complemented by a frank aroma, intense color, and a broad, balanced expression that lingers on the palate. Its most notable characteristic is the astringency conferred by its tannins.
