Domaine Louis Moreau is one of the leading wineries in Chablis, the birthplace of the finest white wines of Burgundy, France. Although the presence of the Moreau family in this prestigious production area dates back to the early 19th century, the key date in the establishment of the firm is 1904, when Jean-Joseph Moreau purchased its most prestigious vineyard: the Clos des Hospices within the Grand Cru Les Clos.
< br> Currently, it is Louis Moreau, the sixth generation of the family, who has been leading the domaine since 1994. Respect for the environment and achieving the selection of the finest grapes guide the philosophy of the winery, which owns a 65-hectare vineyard spread across the entire A.O.C. Chablis.
