General Information
Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume 2022 is a wine born from chardonnay vineyards planted on steep limestone slopes, which imparted it with a characteristic minerality. A white wine that rightfully stands at the top of this renowned production area of French Burgundy.
Domaine Nathalie & Gilles Fèvre crafts one of its most appreciated chardonnays following a philosophy based on careful artisanal viticulture, which has made it a true reference of the A.O.C. Chablis. After the strict manual selection of the best grapes from the 10 hectares of vineyards in Fourchaume, the vinification and maturation of this Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume 2022 was carried out on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 12 months. The process managed to preserve the typicity of the variety and its terroir of origin to offer a rich, fruity, and mineral chardonnay, exquisite in pairing with fish and white meats and, especially, dishes with a curry base.

The history of the Fèvre family and Domaine Nathalie & Gilles Fèvre is inextricably linked. The origins of the saga date back to 1745, when the family was already dedicated to cultivating vineyards in Vaulorent, at the very heart of the French Burgundy region.
Over the years, the estate has undergone several expansions. Today, the winery boasts some of the most coveted terroirs planted with Chardonnay in the A.O.C. Chablis, including Les Preuses, classified as Grand Cru, and Fourchaume, Premier Cru.
At the helm of the estate are Nathalie and Gilles Fèvre, a couple who personally oversee both vineyard work and winemaking, based on sustainable, environmentally friendly, and traditional practices. All with the aim of offering, through their wines, the finest expression of the minerality and complexity of their remarkable terroir.
