Family
The Cantarero family has been the driving force behind the D.O. Uclés, a project undertaken by eight innovative wineries, aware that their wines were different from the rest of the Manchego wines.
Professional career
Jesús Cantarero is the President of the Regulatory Council of this D.O. For more than 40 years, the Cantarero family has been committed to the lands of La Mancha, convinced of the great potential of the vines cultivated here. He began his studies in Law, but in 1986 he started working in the family winery. In 1997, together with his sisters Ana and Rocío, he founded Bodegas Fontana.
