Oveja Tinta Graciano Malbec 2024 is a young red wine that stands out for its fruity and fresh character, ideal for captivating a modern and open-minded audience. Produced by Bodegas Fontana, a leading winery of the D.O. Uclés.
Oveja Tinta Graciano Malbec 2024 is the result of a well-balanced coupage of graciano and malbec that showcases great freshness and varietal personality. It comes from certified organic vineyards located in Uclés (Castilla), at 750 m altitude, on clay-limestone soils that lend structure and freshness to the fruit.
Bodegas Fontana (Península Viticultores) channels its innovative and experimental character into the Oveja wine series, to which Oveja Tinta Graciano Malbec belongs. In this series, their winemakers explore the potential of the 500 hectares of vineyards managed by the winery in a sustainable and personalized manner in Fuente de Pedro Naharro (Cuenca).
During the production of this single-varietal wine, the best grapes were used. After a strict selection process, the grapes were fermented at a controlled temperature with periodic pump-overs. The resulting wine was refined for a minimum of 3 months in tanks. Despite the absence of barrel aging, the final result is a complex young red, with interesting structure and balance.
Enjoy Oveja Tinta Graciano Malbec 2024 alongside spicy dishes or those with a slight sweet touch, as well as fish such as tuna or hake.
