Description of their own wines
In the wines, we seek the utmost expression of a terroir with exceptional capacity and variation, as well as the preservation of the tradition of the wines from our land. We are also known for leading the pursuit of knowledge to improve work in the vineyard and the winery.
Professional career
The current wines of Gramona are the result of the expertise contributed by a team of six enologists led by Jaume: David Piqué is responsible for monitoring vinifications, the evolution of the wines, and all operations carried out in the winery until bottling. He is also in charge of purchasing; Joan Carles Hernández oversees production, managing a team of more than fifteen people; Leila Bellaaj is responsible for quality control, from the grape while still in the vineyard to the moment the product is ready to hit the market; Pere Biosca manages the traceability and digitalization of the entire winemaking and cava production process; Anna García is in charge of the Research and Development and Innovation (R&D+i) Department, with various viticulture and enology projects.
Work
Jaume Gramona is the enólogo who leads the Technical Department and creates the wines and cavas of the winery.
Training
National Diploma of Oenology from the University of Dijon. Professor of sparkling wines at the University of Tarragona.
