Description of their own wines
In our wines, we seek the utmost expression of a terroir with exceptional capacity and variation, as well as the preservation of the tradition of the wines from our land. We are also known for leading the pursuit of knowledge to improve work in the vineyard and the winery.
Professional career
The beginnings of their connection to wine, both in the Batlle branch and in the Gramona branch, date back to the times before phylloxera. However, it was in 1921 that the first bottles of the company formed after the marriage of Pilar Batlle and Bartolomeu Gramona were marketed. In the 1940s, this company launched the first bottlings of the then-called "Champán de Cava" under the Gramona brand. The current generation leading the company is the fifth, headed by Jaume in the oenological aspect and Xavier in business management.
