Professional career
Manuel Fariña López is the general manager of Bodegas Fariña. He was a pioneer in Toro in implementing winemaking techniques used in the most important wine regions of the world, such as fermentation in stainless steel tanks, temperature control during fermentation, and the selection of the most suitable barrels for aging. Changes that have turned the D.O. Toro into a leading wine region. Today, his son Manu Fariña Pérez is the deputy general manager of the winery and the enological director.
