Description of their own wines
Wines are ideas created by the landscape, the climate, and the people. All wines possess these elements, and each one is different and unique. In some, people take center stage; their meticulous work gives them personality. In others, it is simply the soil and the climate that decide what form they will take. In my view, wines should be diverse, represent different sensibilities, and be made for people to enjoy them.
Professional career
Has over 20 years of experience crafting wines in the most renowned Spanish appellations and with experience in France, Chile, and New Zealand. Worked for two years as an enologist at INRA, Institut National de la Recherche Agroalimentaire, in France, before joining the technical department of Familia Torres in 1999. Since 2010, he has been the technical director of the winery, leading a team of 15 enologists.
