Professional career
He worked at the Estación Enológica de Castilla y León from 1992 to 1994. After other occasional collaborations with winemaking firms, he joined Bodega Matarromera.

Graduate in Biological Sciences from the University of León and Master Specialist in Oenology and Viticulture from the University of Valladolid.
