Emina Rosé 2024 is one of the fantastic creations from Emina, the brand that represents the most modern line of the prestigious group Bodegas Familiares Matarromera, founded by Carlos Moro in 1988. The firm has two wineries, one in Ribera del Duero and another in Rueda, which allows the brand to have a great diversity of wine types.
In this case, from Cigales, Bodegas Emina Ribera presents you with a rosé made from a blend of varieties perfectly adapted to the terroir of this production area, such as tempranillo, verdejo, garnacha, merlot, and cabernet sauvignon.
Enjoy now Emina Rosé 2024, a wine born from a vineyard located in Quintanilla de Trigueros, called Terrón Blanco. This vineyard is situated at an altitude of 855 mm above sea level, which favors the slow ripening of its grapes. Vines settled on calcareous soil, which favors a limited production of its fruits.
Tasting notes
Emina Rosé displays a soft strawberry pink color with bluish reflections, clean and bright to the sight.
On the nose, it showcases stone fruits, such as peach; as well as hints of blackberry among mineral and white flower tones.

The winery
Emina Ribera is the second winery founded in Ribera del Duero by the agronomist and winemaker Carlos Moro, following Matarromera. A brand characterized by its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. Paloma Moro, the founder's daughter, is the current president of Emina.
The winery produces wines from its own carefully cultivated vineyards. The vines are intelligently monitored; they receive water, fertilizers, or phytosanitary treatments only when strictly necessary. The result is a reduction in their water footprint and respect for local biodiversity.
Commitment to environmental care is a fundamental part of its DNA. In fact, it was the first Spanish company with AENOR certification to measure its carbon footprint. It also holds the Wineries for Climate Protection certification and is part of International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA), an association dedicated to combating climate change through innovative strategies to reduce carbon emissions.
Emina has two production facilities: one located in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, in the municipality of Valbuena de Duero; and another in the D.O. Rueda. Additionally, it is present in Cigales, and from early 2024, in the D.O. Rías Baixas. In this way, its portfolio encompasses a wide variety of wine types: whites, rosés, barrel-fermented whites, sparkling wines, and reds.
