Awarded the Gold Medal at the Mundus Vini 2017 competition and chosen as the Best Fortified Wine at the international Japan Wine Challenge 2016, Matusalem Oloroso Dulce Muy Viejo V.O.R.S. is undoubtedly one of the treasures of the renowned González Byass winery in Jerez.

From the Carrascal and Macharnudo vineyards, considered among the best in the Marco de Jerez, come the Palomino Fino and Pedro Ximénez grapes used to craft this sweet Oloroso, a marvel of winemaking expertise with the hallmark of Antonio Flores, González Byass's winemaker and master blender. Perfect to enjoy on its own or paired with dessert cheeses, sponge cakes, or fruit pudding.

Tasting notes

Of an intense mahogany color.

On the nose, deep aromas of dried fruits and dried fruit (date, raisin) dominate, along with spicy notes and aged oak.
