Viña Aljibes Rosado 2023 is one of the most interesting rosés made in Spain from the French Syrah, the indisputable star variety of the northern Rhone. It comes from the impressive estate the wine is named after, located in Chinchilla de Montearagón (Albacete), on a plain at an altitude of 1,000 metres, and is notable for its intense aromas of strawberry and hints of dairy and freshly cut grass. Highly potent palate with good body and length.
With scarcely more than a handful of vintages on the market, CVNE is already making a name for itself in the D.O. Ribera del Duero with its red as well as its rosés. Bela Rosado 2023 is fresh, floral and balsamic. It’s designed from Tempranillo vineyards that the winery owns in Villalba de Duero (Burgos), where the grapes provide a freshness that’s ideal for wines of this kind.
Terra Alta (Tarragona) is possibly the region that’s witnessed the greatest growth in Catalonia in recent years. An area of high-altitude vines cultivated on terraces in lime soils – conditions that define the character of its wines, made chiefly from Garnacha. This variety is the basis for magnificent rosé wines that are notable for their fruity character, such as Clua El Solà d'en Pol 2023.
