The D.O. Jumilla is enjoying a sweet moment, and Alceño is one of the wineries that has made this success story possible. With old Monastrell vines, the region's queen grape, it produces Alceño 12 Meses 2022 (12 months in oak barrels), a red that has won three gold medals.
As striking as it is seductive: that’s Jumilla, the region with the most sunshine hours in Spain and home to an exceptional grape, Monastrell, capable of uniting power and elegance in one glass. It is no coincidence that it was recognised as ‘Denominación de Origen del Año’ by La Vanguardia’s Wine Guide 2025. Alceño 12 Meses 2022 is an excellent choice to discover the wines of this land.
Made from old Monastrell vines and aged 12 months in American and French oak barrels, since its market release the awards have not stopped accompanying it.
