Professional career
In 1992, he began working at Bodegas Carlos Serres, in Haro, and for 12 years he was the person primarily responsible for the wines of this centenary winery. In 1994, he linked his professional career to Bodegas Izadi and later became the Technical Director of Grupo Artevino, which encompasses four wineries: Izadi, Orben, Villacreces, and Vetus. He is currently active at Finca La Emperatriz.
Training
Ángel Ortega carries out his training in Chemistry and Oenology between Logroño and Madrid, obtaining a degree in Oenology from the University of Tarragona.
