Terras do Cigarrón Tinto 2022 is the latest addition to the portfolio of Adega Cooperativa Terras do Cigarrón, part of the prestigious Martín Códax group. The winery located in D.O. Monterrei presents a fresh and balanced red wine, made from mencía (65%) and merenzao (35%), notable for its intense aromas of forest fruits, blue flowers, and spices.

In appearance, Terras do Cigarrón Mencía-Merenzao presents a cherry red color with violet reflections, medium intensity. Medium-high intensity on the nose, with notes of wild forest fruits (blackberry, raspberry), floral (violet), and spices. Fresh and balanced on the palate with a long finish. In the aftertaste, the fruity notes of the variety stand out. Fresh and with polished tannins.

Adega Cooperativa Terras do Cigarrón was founded in 2002 as a result of the union of around twenty winegrowers from the Monterrei area, and its facilities were inaugurated three years later. Since 2010, the renowned Galician winery Martín Códax has been managing Terras do Cigarrón. This cooperative controls a total of 90 hectares in the D.O. Monterrei, 40 of which are owned by them.
