Solera 1847 Cream is a sweet oloroso wine masterfully crafted by González Byass, made from a selection of their finest Palomino Fino and Pedro Ximénez grapes. Awarded gold medals at the Concurso de Vinhos do Brasil and the Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards 2014.
Solera 1847 Cream is an outstanding example of the versatility of Sherry. This sweet Oloroso was crafted from the finest clusters of Palomino Fino and Pedro Ximénez harvested from the vineyards of the renowned Andalusian winery González Byass.
The two varieties used in Solera 1847 Cream were vinified separately and, after aging in the same way, in a solera of American oak casks exposed to the air, the final blend underwent a minimum aging of 8 years, following the traditional solera system.
The result is none other than an intense and velvety wine from the D.O. Jerez-Xérès-Sherry, which, due to its undeniable quality, has garnered numerous awards, including gold medals at the Vinduero 2015, Vinhos do Brasil 2014, and Sakura Japan Women’s Wine Awards 2014. Enjoy it on its own as an aperitif or paired with desserts.
