Bodega Séptima belongs to the Raventós Codorníu wine group, one of the families with the most extensive winemaking tradition in Spain (since 1551). Raventós Codorníu already owned six wineries in Spain when they decided that the 'seventh' – hence the name – would be established in a region that amazed the world with its potential: Mendoza, in Argentina. They arrived here in 1999, and in 2001 inaugurated their winery in the Agrelo district, in Luján de Cuyo (Mendoza), at the foot of the Andes and 1050 meters above sea level.
Today, Bodega Séptima is one of the most attractive wineries in Mendoza. The pillars of its philosophy are European heritage and expertise, a commitment to owning vineyards, the production of Premium wines, and respect for the terroir. Séptima's production reaches around 3 million bottles annually.
