Complex and elegant, Séptima Obra Malbec 2024 is the result of an exquisite production that combines innovation with the knowledge and winemaking tradition of the Argentine region of Mendoza. Born from a selection of plots in two different areas: the grapes from the Luján de Cuyo vineyard contribute their fruity profile and roundness, while those from the Uco Valley provide seriousness, freshness, tension on the palate, and magnificent acidity.
The oenological excellence of the Mendoza winery belonging to the Raventós-Codorníu group is combined with a magnificent heritage of 360 hectares of vineyards planted with noble varieties, at an altitude of 1050 meters. With manual and personalized care of the vines and minimally interventionist winemaking techniques, the wines of Bodega Séptima share a common denominator of depth, subtlety, and silkiness. A good example is this Séptima Obra Malbec, a red wine aged for 10 months in French and American oak barrels of 3rd and 4th use, which spent an additional 2 months refining in the bottle before being released to the market.
With an aging potential of 5-6 years, Séptima Obra Malbec 2024 pairs perfectly with grilled meats, cured cheeses, and roasted vegetables.
