Toni Sarrión believed in bobal, he loved this native Mediterranean grape. At the end of the nineties, he convinced his family to transform their livestock farm on the Valencian high plateau into an ambitious winemaking project: Mustiguillo. He worked hard for 12 years in this corner, and in 2010 the reward came: the certification as Vino de Pago, an achievement never before attained by any winery in the Mediterranean. From then on, his wines bear the exclusive designation of origin Pago El Terrerazo, in recognition of their uniqueness and quality.
El Terrerazo was the name of the estate that now houses the winery, in Utiel, where the Sarrión family already had bobal vineyards, some very old. Located at 800 m altitude, at an intermediate point between the sea and the cold province of Teruel, the estate offers conditions that provide great uniqueness to the wines.
