He is the eldest of the 11 children of Josep María Raventós i Blanc
Professional career
He was raised and grew up in Can Codorníu, in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia. He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a diploma in Oenology from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). He began his career collaborating in the creation of several pioneering companies in the Ebro Delta dedicated to horticulture, drainage and agricultural infrastructure, logistics, and the distribution of refrigerated and frozen products. He remains actively involved with them to this day.In 1986, he founded Raventós i Blanc together with his father, Josep María. Just a few days after founding the company, his father passed away, leaving him solely in charge of the winery. However, thanks to the support of his family and friends, he has managed to position it at the forefront of the international wine scene.
