La Rioja Alta S.A. is one of our legendary winemaking companies, a national icon of the finest Rioja classicism. From its headquarters in the renowned Barrio de la Estación in Haro, considered the heart of Spanish wine, this firm has stood for over a century as a symbol of the highest quality. La Rioja Alta has managed to evolve excellently over time, introducing small changes without breaking tradition. In 1995, it began its expansion strategy with the acquisition of Torre de Oña, also in Rioja. It also owns the wineries Lagar de Fornelos (D.O. Rías Baixas) and Viñedos y Bodegas Áster (Ribera del Duero).
