Nelson

Located next to the bay that occupies the northern area of the South Island of New Zealand, the Nelson region has quickly risen to become one of the most promising wine-producing areas on the planet. The region consists of just 880 hectares of vineyards.

Nelson is a neighboring region to the renowned Marlborough, the viticultural heart of the country, and enjoys a similar climate, but cooler and less rainy. It is an area of wide bays, native forests, and mountains, blessed with the highest number of sunshine hours in the country. As for its soils, gravel and clay predominate.
