Albarello

The clusters are small, cylindrical, and elongated. The berries are small, with a flattened spherical shape and an ashy garnet color. The wines have little color, good acidity, and in long macerations, they can exhibit vegetal tannins. Due to their good alcohol content, they perform well when blended with other varieties, but varietal wines are also made from them. Young wines have a cherry color, aromas of sour cherry and black blueberry, with mineral notes from the granite soils.
