EcoRacimo, Concurso Internacional de Vinos Ecológicos
EcoRacimo is the Wine Tasting-Competition of Organic Viticulture. An "officially recognized" competition by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, which has become an unmissable event in the landscape of Spanish wine contests, and which each year gauges the progress of organic wines.
Organizer
It is organized by the Diputación de Córdoba, the Ayuntamiento de Montilla, and the Asociación Valor Ecológico- CAAE
Jury
Panel of more than internationally renowned tasters with extensive professional experience, Rocío Márquez Ortega has been the Director of the International Organic Wine Competition “Ecoracimos” since 2009.
Contestants
In the International Wine Tasting-Competition designed with grapes from Organic Agriculture, wines from all over the world can participate, provided they are made from grapes obtained under EU regulation 834/2007 or an equivalent standard in non-EU countries, and are registered and certified by a competent body in this field, with its mention appearing on their label.
