Tío Pepe Fino Tres Palmas 2023 is a magnificent fino amontillado made from palomino fino grapes grown in the traditional albariza soils of Tío Pepe in the D.O. Jerez-Xérès-Sherry. In the words of the Cádiz winery, this fino is achieved thanks to “a biological aging on the edge between life and death.” 10 years of aging in oak casks in contact with the flor have given it an unparalleled personality distinguished by its seductive aromas and a saline, unctuous, and incredibly long palate.

General Information

One of the 149 casks from the historic solera of the winery 'La Constancia' gives rise to the seductive Tío Pepe Fino Tres Palmas 2023, a fino amontillado crafted by the Cádiz winery González Byass as part of the Finos Palmas range. A wine of great complexity that stands out for its beautiful old gold color and pleasant aromas from biological aging, along with a savory and saline finish.

González Byass was founded in 1835 when the entrepreneur Manuel María González decided to trade the highly sought-after Sherry wines in England. For this venture, advised by his uncle José Ángel de la Peña (the famous Tío Pepe), González acquired a small winery that he started with his partner Robert Blake Byass. Today, the winery group is run by the fifth generation of the family.

Full of captivating aromas and a creamy, eternal taste, Tío Pepe Fino Tres Palmas 2023 is a fino amontillado from the D.O. Jerez-Xérès-Sherry, perfect for pairing with dishes such as almadraba bluefin tuna or traditional Andalusian stews. It also pairs well with spiced Asian cuisine preparations.
