With an extended aging of at least 67 months in the bottle, this Brut Nature is made from macabeo and xarel·lo grapes cultivated following biodynamic principles. Their commitment to bottling the landscapes of l’Alt Penedès leads them to cultivate exclusively estate-owned vineyards planted 100% with traditional varieties of the area, especially xarel·lo. At Recaredo, they practice dry farming following the principles of biodynamics, going beyond organic farming (pioneers in the Penedès region in obtaining biodynamic certification).
Recaredo’s sparkling wines are the most sublime expression of time, with aging periods ranging from 30 months to over 20 years. Aging at Recaredo is always done with natural cork stoppers, a technically ideal material for preserving the original essence of a long-aged sparkling wine. At Recaredo, true artisans in the craft of disgorging, they manually remove the aging lees at the cool and natural temperature of the cellars.
