Paraje Marín 2023 is one of the magnificent single-vineyard wines produced by the Jumilla winery Bruma del Estrecho de Marín from monastrell grapes, the queen variety of the D.O. The location of the vines from which it comes, on both slopes of a valley, one shady and the other more exposed to the sun, endows this young red wine with great freshness, elegance, and minerality, while also giving it a notable and warm maturity.

Tasting notes

Medium intensity ruby red color.

On the nose, it is very expressive, dominated by aromas of flowering tree, black fruit (cherry), dry grass (hay), and bread dough.

Balanced on the palate. Wine with medium acidity and polished tannins, featuring notes of black fruit and wet stone. Persistent finish.

The winery

Viña Elena, a winery founded in 1948, has evolved in terms of technology while maintaining respect for heritage and family tradition. A firm that operates with the experience of 4 generations in constant evolution. Currently, this winery is led by Elena Pacheco, who, together with her friend Isio Ramos, has launched the project Bruma del Estrecho de Marín, conceived to produce single-vineyard wines with the monastrell variety.
Viña Elena has a total of 400 hectares of vineyards, 100 of which are owned by the winery. Additionally, the winery has expanded its product range to include extra virgin olive oil and almonds from its own production. In this way, alongside the vineyards, it completes the “trilogy” of traditional farming in the Murcian highlands.
