Year after year, Noé Pedro Ximénez Muy Viejo V.O.R.S. secures its place at the pinnacle of winemaking, thanks to the numerous awards it garners. The latest of these is the Gran Bacchus de Oro, the highest distinction of the Bacchus International Wine Competition, which, in its 2019 edition, was awarded for the first time to a PX Muy Viejo, that is, to this true enological gem crafted by González Byass winemaker Antonio Flores.
Noé Pedro Ximénez Muy Viejo V.O.R.S. comes from an exclusive solera, with very limited production, aged for 30 years in American oak barrels. The result in the glass is an intense Pedro Ximénez with a silky palate and very sweet flavor, perfect as a dessert wine on its own or to pair with vanilla ice cream or dark chocolate.
Tasting notes
It displays a dense and intense ebony color to the eye.
Warm nose of dried fruit (fig) enriched with roasted aromas (coffee) and spices.
On the palate, it is fresh, yet very sweet, and with great silkiness.
