The Catalan fashion designer Jordi Dalmau, starting from the already known polka dots of the albariño Paco & Lola, signs the label design of Lola Brut by Paco & Lola, the only cava produced by the Galician firm. Made with the three traditional varieties of the D.O. Cava, the xarel·lo, the macabeo and the parellada, it is a sparkling wine, with a minimum aging in the bottle of 9 months, that stands out for its freshness, modern touch, and fine and persistent bubbles.
With just over 10 years of experience, Adega e Viñedos Paco & Lola has already made a reputable name in the wine scene, thanks to its casual and different style and its masterful command of the albariño, the queen grape of Rías Baixas. Lola Brut by Paco & Lola is their first production outside this denomination of origin, specifically from the D.O. Cava, which is ideal to enjoy with fish, seafood, light and white meats, rice dishes, salads, and smoked foods.
Pale straw yellow color with a steely hue. Good formation of crown and constant string of bubbles.
On the nose, notes of apple, citrus, marzipan, and white flowers stand out.
The entry on the palate is fruity, fresh, and with creamy bubbles. Balanced.
Adega e Viñedos Paco & Lola is a winery founded in 2005 by the Sociedad Cooperativa Vitivinícola Arousana. It is the most important cooperative in the D.O. Rías Baixas, consisting of more than 430 members who own 220 hectares of vineyards in the Salnés Valley, the birthplace of the finest albariños; an extraordinary viticultural heritage in a region like Galicia, characterized by smallholdings. The winery's facilities are equipped with the latest technology.
