With the seal of winemaker Carlos Moro, alma mater of Bodegas Familiares Matarromera, we present to you Emina Sauvignon Blanc 2025, a white wine made entirely from a selection of the best sauvignon blanc clusters sourced from poor soils cultivated by the winery in Valdestillas (Valladolid).
In the Rueda Designation of Origin, Bodegas Familiares Matarromera, founded by the renowned entrepreneur Carlos Moro, has designed a functional winery to make the most of the resources offered by the verdejo and sauvignon blanc varieties. The facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art stainless steel tanks and a perfectly conditioned collection of French barrels, which is renewed annually.
From there, we present to you Emina Sauvignon Blanc 2025. A fresh and modern wine, where the expression of its elegant tropical fruit perfectly combines with a balanced acidity. An ideal white wine to pair with any type of food, making it one of the most popular and appreciated white grape varieties worldwide.
The fruits that nourish Emina Sauvignon Blanc 2025 come from the Bodeguilla estate, located in Valdestillas, Valladolid. There, the sauvignon blanc, one of the most widely used grape varieties for white wine production worldwide, is planted in trellis at an altitude of around 740 meters above sea level, in a sandy-textured plot ideal for allowing this noble French-origin grape to showcase its best expression.

Tasting notes
In the visual phase, Emina Sauvignon Blanc exhibits a very pale straw yellow color with a steely rim.
On the nose, it features tropical aromas of pineapple, passion fruit, green mango, boxwood, and herbal tones; all of this on a subtle citrus background, red pepper, and white flowers.
On the palate, it presents an excellent balance between volume, body, and acidity. A lively white wine, endowed with a pleasant final bitterness and excellent length.
