Integrated into the society Bodegas Familiares Matarromera, Emina is one of the Spanish brands that best embodies the concepts of innovation and sustainability. Emina produces wines in three Castilian appellations: Ribera del Duero, Rueda, and Cigales.
In the D.O. Rueda, it established itself in 2007, the year it built the Emina Rueda winery near the town of Medina del Campo (Valladolid). Here, it produces white wines with verdejo and sauvignon blanc grapes—wines that prioritize fruity expression and are born from meticulously cared-for vineyards.
This is a winery always at the forefront of sustainability, holding the SWfCP Plus certification and being the first to measure the carbon footprint of one of its wines, specifically Emina Verdejo Sobre Lías, which is made with its own yeast. Emina Rueda is committed to wine tourism and offers experiences such as visiting its extraordinary Garden of White Grape Varieties and olive trees.
