General Information

Château Gloria 2018 is a Bordeaux red wine made from 46 hectares of vineyard, over 40 years old, located in Château Gloria itself on gravel soils with a sandy clay base. The cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, and petit verdot vines that give it life are cultivated respectfully, and after a meticulous production process, the wine ages in French oak barrels (30% new) for 14 months.

Although Château Gloria was founded by Henri Martin in 1942, the family's experience in the wine world began long before. It all started with a small family vineyard called Château Haut-Beychevelle Gloria, which was classified as a Grand Cru in 1855. Over time, the family acquired new properties, currently owning 50 hectares of vineyards in Saint Julien. After Henri Martin's passing in 1991, his children Françoise and Jean Louis Triaud took over the reins of the French estate.

Belonging to the A.O.C. Saint Julien, Château Gloria has been praised by international critics year after year. A sublime wine that pairs wonderfully with roasted or stewed lamb, coq au vin, duck à l'orange, red meats, and aged cheeses.
