Château de Beaucastel Blanc 2021 is a limited production white wine crafted by one of the most important wineries in the Rhône Valley, owned by the renowned Perrin family. The estate has only 7 hectares of vineyards with white grape varieties, which are the origin of this harmonious coupage dominated by the roussanne variety. After an attentive 8-month aging process in oak barrels, it reveals itself in the glass as a wine rich in aromas with a balanced and persistent palate.

Tasting notes

Château de Beaucastel Blanc displays a beautiful pale and bright yellow color with green hues.

On the nose, it is delicate yet intense. Dominated by aromas of white flowers and honeysuckle, white-fleshed fruits (peach), and spices that add complexity and acidity to the wine.

On the palate, the attack is slightly saline, providing good balance. A very harmonious ensemble with a long and persistent finish.

The winery

Château de Beaucastel, managed by the Perrin family, boasts 100 hectares of vineyards in an exceptional 'terroir', located at the northern edge of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation (Rhône Valley). The 'terroir' is highly representative of the finest soils of Châteauneuf: pebbles on the surface and sand, clay, and limestone in the deeper layers. The vines are old and have been organically cultivated for 50 years, allowing the roots to grow exceptionally deep. Beaucastel works with all 13 grape varieties permitted in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC.
