Casa de la Ermita Petit Verdot Crianza 2022 is a wine with an overwhelming personality. Its power, intensity, and concentration make it one of the most attractive single-varietal wines produced in our country with this grape of French origin.
The leading Murcian winery Casa de la Ermita carefully crafts this red wine from clusters of very small and loose grapes, selected at their optimal ripeness from vineyards planted at an altitude of 700 meters, on dry, mountainous soils of the El Carche range. For its vinification, the grapes were cold macerated during the first days of fermentation, which lasted 15 days at 26-28 ºC. Afterward, the wine was transferred to barrels, where it underwent malolactic fermentation. The process concluded with a 12-month aging period in French oak barrels.
Aromatic and balanced, Casa de la Ermita Petit Verdot Crianza 2022 manages to satisfy both inexperienced palates and the most demanding ones. An achievement also shared by the rest of the wines from the winery founded in 1999, in Jumilla. The unique terroir where its vineyard is located, the traditional farming it practices, and the latest technology applied to production in the winery are the key to its success.

Smooth entry on the palate. Rounded tannic structure, fresh, strong, and complex. Slightly bitter finish (characteristic of the variety). Long and intense aftertaste.
