Bruma del Estrecho de Marín Parcela Mandiles 2021 comes from the oldest monastrell vineyard, 72 years old and planted on its own rootstock, located in the Estrecho de Marín, the exceptional area in the south of the D.O. Jumilla that is masterfully managed by the Bruma del Estrecho de Marín winery, owned by Elena Pacheco and Isio Ramos. Made in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and aged in French oak barrels for 10 months, this red wine with good tension and structure stands out for its delicacy, harmony, freshness, and a characteristic mineral touch.

Tasting notes

Bruma del Estrecho de Marín Parcela Mandiles displays an intense ruby red color with purple hues.

Highly expressive and complex on the nose, lively and spicy, with predominant aromas of fresh red fruits and minerals.

On the palate, it is flavorful, fresh, balsamic, spicy, and very persistent, with fruit prevailing over toasted notes. Very harmonious.

The winery

Viña Elena, a winery founded in 1948, has evolved in terms of technology while maintaining respect for heritage and family tradition. A firm that operates with the experience of 4 generations in constant evolution. Currently, this winery is led by Elena Pacheco, who, together with her friend Isio Ramos, has launched the project Bruma del Estrecho de Marín, conceived to produce single-vineyard wines with the monastrell variety.
Viña Elena has a total of 400 hectares of vineyards, 100 of which are owned by the winery. Additionally, the winery has expanded its product range to include extra virgin olive oil and almonds from its own production. In this way, alongside the vineyards, it completes the “trilogy” of traditional farming in the Murcian highlands.
