Marqués de la Concordia Family of Wines belongs to The Haciendas Company group, originally from Rioja. Under this brand, the group markets high-end wines produced in different wine regions. In Rioja, Marqués de la Concordia has vineyards spread across the three subzones of the denomination.
José Abascal (1743-1821), Marqués de la Concordia de Perú, gives the brand its name. In his role as viceroy, he promoted social reform, knowledge transfer, and cooperation between Creoles and Spaniards in the best concord.
In September 2020, Marqués de la Concordia Lagunilla Crianza 2018 was awarded 90 points by the prestigious Wine Enthusiast magazine, making it into the “Top 100 Best Buys of 2021” list and becoming the highest-rated Rioja Crianza.
