Consejo de la Alta

The Bodega Consejo de la Alta is a winery located in the La Rioja region, Spain. Its history dates back to 1846, when Don Hipólito Bañuelos documented the production processes and quality of the wines. Currently, it belongs to the CVNE group and has vineyards approximately 35 years old in both Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, with a predominant variety of tempranillo grapes, along with small quantities of chardonnay, viura, garnacha, and graciano.

It is located in the town of Cenicero, in the heart of Rioja Alta, and employs techniques such as cold maceration and the use of oak barrels sanitized with ozone for the aging of its wines.
